New Iphone App Helps Users Command the Web
4Eyes is a new search tool developed for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Users are able to use text based commands to quickly search the web and perform tasks.

Users are able to use text based commands to quickly search the web and perform tasks. By utilising an ever-present keyboard and short text commands, search times are often dramatically quicker than they would be using conventional apps.
Over thirty commands are available in v1.0, ranging from searching the App Store to searching videos on Youtube.
4Eyes was developed by a frustrated iPhone user who was tired of having to "jump through hoops" to get to the web pages he was looking for. His solution was inspired by the command line interface (a mechanism for interacting with a computer operating system by typing commands to perform specific tasks). He found that once a person had learnt the various commands available in the app, users are often far quicker accomplishing their desired task.
